INFORMATION
Pelita - Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat contains various activities from diverse groups of people in handling and managing the various potentials, obstacles, challenges and problems that exists in the society. Implementation of service activities also involve the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the power and capacity of the society.
Pelita - Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat focuses its publication to dissemination and publication of community or society empowerment with various discipline approaches like communication, social, religion, law, culture, economic, politic, even science and technology. Therefore, our scopes are activity result of :
1. Education/Training/Counseling for Community Groups
Educational initiatives aimed at improving knowledge, skills, and awareness among community groups through training sessions, counseling programs, or non-formal education activities.
2. Accompaniment for Community Groups
An intensive and continuous facilitation process to assist community groups in planning, implementing, and evaluating empowerment activities effectively.
3. Advocacy for Community Groups
Strategic efforts to represent and defend the interests of community groups, especially vulnerable populations, through communication, policy engagement, and networking to ensure equitable access to resources and rights.
4. Participatory Action Research (PRA) for Community Empowerment
A collaborative research method that actively involves community members in identifying problems, formulating solutions, and implementing actions to enhance their capacity and independence.
5. Community-Based Research (CBR)
A research approach grounded in the needs and local context of the community, where members serve as equal partners throughout the research process to produce relevant and applicable outcomes.
6. Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD)
An empowerment model that focuses on identifying, utilizing, and enhancing the existing strengths, potentials, and assets within the community as the foundation for sustainable development.
7. Community Participation-Based Dedication
Service-oriented activities that emphasize the active involvement of community members in every stage of the initiative—from planning and execution to evaluation—in order to foster ownership and ensure sustainability.

Pelita - Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published Forum Komunikasi Pembangunan Indonesia (FORKAPI) Banten province. Pelita - Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is published twice a year (June and December).
